Answers:

1. What is unusual about the reptiles that live at Nyanyana crocodile farm? The thing that is unusual is that at the Nyanyana Crocodile Farm is that the Crocodiles were normal Crocs that ate meat and they changed their diet and now they are 100% Vegetarian.

2. How did they turn this way? The Crocodiles turned this way by accident because in 2006 Zimbabwe was undergoing an economic crisis so the company found it impossible to find affordable meat to feed the 164,000 Crocodiles that were being raised in the farm, Because of that they had to feed them pellets that were a mix of meat and vegetables. After the change of diet the diet didn't seem to deter the reptiles growth so they gradually eliminated the meat and now the Crocodiles are completely 100% Vegetarian.

3. What are the crocodiles being bred for? The Crocodiles are being bred for their skin once the crocodiles have been killed they skin the Crocodiles and sell the skin to european tanneries which their skin is transformed into leather and sold to fashion houses to make expensive handbags shoes and belts. We wonder whether this diet works for Crocodiles in the wild.

  1. Josh, you have to try and write your answers in your own words. It appears you copied and pasted the answer to Q.2!! Identify the keywords/phrases from the text and then turn those into full sentences to answer the questions. You didn't complete the critical thinking challenge.
