1. Every animal turns one so why was Bao Bao's first birthday so special? 

Bao Baos 1st Birthday is special because Bao Bao is a Giant Panda and there are only 1,600 left in the wild and 376 in captivity.  

2. How did the zookeepers celebrate it? 

The zoo keepers celebrated Bao Bao's birthday with a special chocolate and vanilla cake and dandan noodles. 

3. What are some of the things Bao Bao has learnt during his first year? What are some of the things in store for her before she turns two? 

Bao Bao has learnt to respond to her name and stand tall on the scales, during her monthly weigh-ins. The zoo keepers are now hoping to teach her how to present her paw when she needs to get her blood drawn and lie down, during her monthly ultrasound 

Dangerous Decibels

The main idea of dangerous decibels is to teach us about how delicate our hearing is and how we need to look after it. I learnt that anything over 130dB can result in instant hearing loss but anything up to 85dB is safe. Over the session we got taught how our ears work and how ear wax is the ears natural cleaner. We also got to use tuning fork each to simulate the vibrations of a heavy rock concert and a normal conversation. A tuning fork is a metal tool which vibrates on impact with solid ground.

1. It bounces different because it is elastic instead of springs.
2. Some things the visitors will experience is it is in a cave mine and you have to go by cave mine carts to get into the trampoline park.
