The main idea of dangerous decibels is to teach us about how delicate our hearing is and how we need to look after it. I learnt that anything over 130dB can result in instant hearing loss but anything up to 85dB is safe. Over the session we got taught how our ears work and how ear wax is the ears natural cleaner. We also got to use tuning fork each to simulate the vibrations of a heavy rock concert and a normal conversation. A tuning fork is a metal tool which vibrates on impact with solid ground.
